Whole-Home Filtration in Buckeye for Every Tap in Your Home
We put one filter system on your main water line, so the shower, the kitchen sink and the washer all get the same cleaner water. It cuts chlorine taste and smell and catches grit. We test your water first, then give you a full installed price.
What a Whole-Home System Does
We mount the system on your main line, usually in the garage near the shutoff. Water passes a sediment stage first, which holds back sand, rust flakes and grit. Then it runs through a carbon tank that pulls out the chlorine or chloramine your water provider adds to keep it safe in the pipes. Showers lose that pool smell, and tea tastes like tea again.
This is a good fit when taste, odor or dirt bothers you at every faucet, not only the kitchen. It does not soften water. White crust on fixtures and spotty glasses come from hardness, and our water softeners page covers that. A lot of homes end up running both on the same loop.
Storms are another reason to have one. After a monsoon knocks out power or a crew fixes a nearby main, water can run cloudy or gritty for a while. The sediment stage stops most of that before it gets to your water heater and fixtures.
What the Install Covers
- A free test ahead of any price
- We look at what is coming out of your tap before any talk of equipment. The test is free with zero obligation. You see the numbers, and we tell you honestly if a whole-home system is worth it.
- Sediment pre-filter stage
- This cartridge traps sand and grit so the carbon tank does not clog and lasts longer. It does most of the work after a line break.
- Carbon tank
- The main tank is filled with carbon that removes chlorine taste and odor. When your water has chloramine, we use catalytic carbon, which deals with it better than standard carbon. Qualifying systems have a lifetime warranty on their tanks.
- A bypass valve
- The bypass keeps water going to the house while a cartridge is out, so your taps never go dry when it is time to change a filter.
- Installation built in
- The system price includes the install, so no labor bill shows up afterward. A partner plumber handles the cut-in, fittings and leak checks.
- Cleanup and a quick lesson
- We take the boxes, wipe the work area and show you the bypass, the shutoff and how to change the pre-filter yourself.
When a Whole-Home System Makes Sense
Hot showers smell like bleach
That chemical smell in the steam means the disinfectant is still in the water when it hits you. Carbon removes it.
Coffee and ice taste off
When drinks taste flat or chemical, the water is usually the cause. Treating it at the main fixes every tap, the fridge line included.
Sand in faucet screens
Grit or dark specks in aerators or the washer inlet mean sediment is coming in from the main. Over time it wears on valves, cartridges and appliances.
Murky water after storms or repairs
If water turns cloudy each time a storm drops the power or the city works on a line, a sediment stage will catch most of it.
Tight skin after bathing
Chlorine can leave skin and hair feeling dry. Plenty of people notice a change once it is out of the shower water.
What Changes the Price
Homes and water vary, so whole-home filtration has no one set price. System size and how easily we can tie into your main line matter most. After the test, we give you the complete installed figure by phone, install included.
How big your home is
Extra bathrooms mean more water flowing at the same time. A bigger tank holds pressure steady when the dishwasher and two showers are all running.
Carbon choice
Regular carbon takes care of chlorine. Catalytic carbon runs higher, but it is the right choice when your water provider uses chloramine.
Getting to the main line
A loop already in the garage makes for the easiest hookup. Moving the main or adding new pipe takes more parts and labor.
Added stages
Some homes call for a stronger sediment stage, or want a softener put in alongside. More equipment raises the price, and we only recommend it when your test backs it up.
What the Job Looks Like
- 1
Call and free water test
Give us a call, we set a time and test the water at your house. Then we explain the results in everyday terms.
- 2
One installed price
You get a single installed price for the system that suits your water and plumbing. There is no rush to decide.
- 3
The install
A partner plumber turns off the main, plumbs in the system and fits the bypass. A garage that already has a treatment loop speeds things up. Most installs take part of a day.
- 4
Flush and leak check
The new carbon gets flushed, each fitting is checked for leaks and the water comes back on. We also show you where the shutoff is and how to change the filter before we go.

Whole-Home Filtration Questions
Will this fix hard water too?
No. The carbon deals with chlorine, taste and smell, and the sediment stage catches grit. Calcium and magnesium pass right through both. If scale is the problem, a water softener handles it, and it can share the same loop.
Will my water pressure drop?
Not when the system is sized correctly. We size the tank to your bathroom count and how many fixtures tend to run together. Pressure problems come from tanks that are too small, so we size up rather than down.
How often do filters need changing?
The sediment cartridge usually gets swapped a few times a year, sooner if your water carries a lot of grit. The carbon lasts much longer. We tell you what to expect for your water and show you how to change the cartridge yourself.
My water went cloudy after a storm. What should I do?
Follow any notice from the city first, because a filter does not replace a boil notice. Once the water is cleared, take a look at your sediment cartridge. It may have trapped a lot of debris and need changing early.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. System tanks carry a lifetime warranty on qualifying systems. We tell you which systems qualify when we give you your price.
Do I need drinking water treatment as well?
Most people are happy with whole-home carbon by itself. If you want extra filtering at the kitchen sink, our reverse osmosis page explains how an under-sink unit adds to it. Our water testing visit helps you decide.
