Water Testing in Buckeye, Done Right at Your Tap
We come to your home, test the water at your kitchen sink and walk you through the numbers. The test is free and there is no obligation. You get clear answers on what is in your water, and pricing on a system only if you want it.
Know What You're Dealing With First
Most water problems show up as a symptom. White crust on the faucet. Spots on clean glasses. A pool smell from the tap. A test tells you what is causing it, so you fix the right thing and skip what you don't need.
It also helps when something changes fast. A big storm, a line break on your street or a boil notice can leave you unsure about your water. We help you get a clear reading and a sensible next step, without guessing.
Water across the West Valley tends to run hard, but every home is a little different. We test yours before we suggest anything.
What Your Free Water Test Covers
Hardness
We measure the calcium and magnesium that leave scale in your water heater, fixtures and dishwasher. This number decides whether a water softener makes sense for your home.
Chlorine
We check the disinfectant level the city adds. It is safe, but it is what most people taste and smell, and it is the main reason folks look at whole-home filtration.
Total dissolved solids
A meter reading shows how much is dissolved in your water overall. High readings point toward reverse osmosis for drinking and cooking water.
pH and appearance
We note pH, color and cloudiness. Odd results here can point to a plumbing issue inside the house rather than the supply.
Results you keep
We write the readings down for you and explain each one in plain words. If a question needs an outside lab to answer, we tell you so.
Signs It's Time to Test Your Water
Crust on faucets and showerheads
White or chalky buildup that comes back after you clean it is a sign of hard water. Left alone, the same scale builds inside your water heater.
Spots and film on dishes
Glasses come out cloudy and shower glass never looks clean. Hardness is the usual cause, but a test confirms it.
A change after a storm or line repair
If your water looks cloudy, tastes off or smells different after a monsoon, a main break or a boil notice is lifted, a quick test shows where things stand.
Tap water that smells like a pool
Some families end up hauling home cases of bottled water because the kitchen faucet tastes of chlorine. A test shows the actual level and which filter takes it out.
You just moved in
A new-to-you home comes with plumbing and old equipment you know nothing about. Testing gives you a baseline from day one.
Before buying any system
If someone quotes you a softener or filter without testing, get the numbers first. They decide the right size and type.
How the Test Works
- 1
You call and we pick a time
Tell us what you've noticed and when it started. We set a visit that works for your day.
- 2
We test at your tap
We usually draw from the kitchen sink and sometimes a second faucet. It takes about as long as a cup of coffee, and nothing gets taken apart.
- 3
We go over the results with you
We show you each reading and what it means for your pipes, appliances and drinking water. You'll hear if your water is fine as it is.
- 4
Options and pricing if you want them
If a system makes sense, we explain which one and why, and give you installed pricing by phone or on the spot. There is no pressure to decide that day.
What It Costs
The test is free, and nothing is owed once we pack up. If the readings point to a system, what you pay depends on what your water needs and how your home is plumbed. With water treatment systems, the install is included. The number we give you is the installed price, labor and all.
- How hard your water is
- Harder water needs a larger softener with more capacity. Your test number sets the size.
- What you want removed
- Chlorine taste calls for carbon. Dissolved solids at the drinking tap call for reverse osmosis. Some homes need one, some need two.
- Your household's water use
- More people and more bathrooms mean more gallons each day. We size the system so it keeps up.
- Plumbing access
- A home with a ready loop in the garage is simpler than one where we need to run new lines to reach a good spot.
Water Testing Questions
Something not covered here? (480) 530-6468
Is the water test really free?
It is. We don't charge for the visit or the test, and there is zero obligation to buy. The readings are yours to keep whatever you decide.
Will you try to sell me a system?
We tell you what the numbers show. If your water is fine for your needs, we say so. If a system would help, we explain why and give you pricing, then you decide in your own time.
My water seemed off after a storm. Should I test?
It is a sensible step. Storms and line repairs can stir up sediment or change taste for a while. If the city issues a boil notice, follow it first, then a test afterward shows how your water looks once things settle.
Does someone need to be there during the visit?
Please plan on it. We need to reach a faucet inside, and the most useful part is sitting down with you to go over what we found. A grown-up who can make decisions about the house is best.
How long does it take?
The testing itself is quick. Most of the visit is talking through the results and answering your questions.
If I buy a system, who installs it?
Installs are done by licensed and insured partner plumbers, and the install comes with water treatment systems at no extra line on your price. Qualifying systems also carry a lifetime warranty on the system tanks.
